  3.           This program will upgrade the UNIDRIVE.DOS and
  4.           UNI_BDDS.DOS modules of ExtenDOS version 1.1 to
  5.           version 1.11.  It will ONLY upgrade version 1.1.

  7.   [This patch updates UNIDRIVE.DOS & UNI_BDDS.DOS from 1.2 to 1.3].

  19. What is needed to upgrade
  20. =========================
  21.  
  22.   .   An un-modified ExtenDOS distribution diskette, version 1.1, or
  23.   .   An ExtenDOS distribution diskette, version 1.0, that has been
  24.       previously patched by PATCH001.TOS
  25.  
  26.  
  27. How to upgrade the UNIDRIVE.DOS & UNI_BDDS.DOS modules
  28. ======================================================
  29.  
  30.   1.  Make sure you have made a backup copy of the ExtenDOS distribution
  31.       diskette.
  32.  
  33.   2.  Copy the PATCH002.TOS file to the ExtenDOS distribution diskette.
  34.  
  35.   3.  Run PATCH002.TOS by double-clicking on it from the desktop.  The
  36.       program will create backup copies of the original files, named
  37.       UNIDRIVE.BAK & UNI_BDDS.BAK, and then patch the original copies.
  38.       The final message should be "All modules patched successfully".
  39.       If not, please read the error messages issued carefully; they
  40.       should indicate what the problem is.
  41.  
  42.   4.  Once you have finished upgrading your distribution diskette,
  43.       make a backup copy of this newer version.
  44.  
  45.   ** VERY IMPORTANT STEP, READ CAREFULLY **
  46.  
  47.   5.  To install the newer version on your system, you MUST replace the
  48.       following ExtenDOS files in your system with the corresponding
  49.       files from the newly upgraded disk:

  51.       UNIDRIVE.DOS
  52.       UNI_BDDS.DOS
  53.       
  54.  
  55. If you get an error message
  56. ===========================
  57.  
  58.   If you get an error message during the patch process and cannot
  59.   resolve the problem, you can mail us the diskette so that we can
  60.   upgrade it.
  61.  
  62.   To have your disk upgraded by us, you need to:
  63.  
  64.   1.  Send in your original ExtenDOS distribution diskette.
  65.   2.  Enclose a cheque for $5 + $2 shipping & handling ($7 total).
  66.   3.  Enclose a note with your name, address, and daytime phone number.
  67.  
  68.   In return you will receive version 1.11 of ExtenDOS, which includes
  69.   Falcon030 support as well as the UNIDRIVE.DOS and UNI_BDDS.DOS
  70.   upgrades.

  76. This version contains the following fixes:

  78. + If the B= and/or P= parameters were omitted, an erroneous error
  79.   message 'device not responding' could be issued.
